Stopped off here for a delicious Veggie Pattie and Camomile tea after visiting London Fossils and Crystals, so I was already in a very good place, Leila is a lovely, warm human-being, she made us feel ever so welcome at Cafe Del Marsh, I'm not exaggerating when I say that day will be etched in my memory for so many reasons.

We're looking forward to taking up the invite to visit in the evening to sample some of the cocktails and spend more time with the lovely owner and his partner. Cafe Del Marsh is one of South London's gems!

Lower marsh is probably one of the best streets in London right now for bars and drinks and cafe del marsh is no exception. It has an awesome garden that one does not even notice and the best selection of spirits. I had a private party at the place and I have been going back ever since.

Café del Marsh is a gem of Waterloo!

A great choice of craft beer, focusing on London breweries. Canopy on tap makes the visit worth it every time!

I’ve had two parties there, the owner was really happy to help and accommodating to our requests for decorations and music.

The covered outside area out back is a excellent space to hold a party.

If I am in the area I will always be sure to pop in for beer!

Great cafe and great atmosphere. The bar has a lovely garden and both STaff and the owner are really kind. Def recommended for private parties as you can hire the whole place. I had such an amazing time at cafe del Marsh. Simply love it

My best friend had her 30th birthday at Cafe Del Marsh and it was an exceptionally enjoyable, memorable night. Owner and staff were extremely accommodating and the music was just right. This is without a doubt my favourite venue in Waterloo. The bar/Café area is cosy and has an intimate feel while the garden is a major plus point and provided the perfect setting for our celebrations. I’d definitely recommend to friends on an evening out or planning a special event.

One of our regular places for a cool drink when in the UK. Great atmosphere

Laid back but very professional.

Ask James to make you a cocktail,

You will be very happy with the result.

Best bar atmosphere South of the river! Well worth a visit for a coffee during the day, or a few cold ones at night. The music is always on point too 🎉

I've been going to Cafe Del Marsh for years. I meet my clients there for a coffee and a catch up - as well as meeting mates for a beer. James, the owner, knows his music too. Always good vibes at Del Marsh.

Always have an awesome time at Cafe del Marsh. Had my birthday party there last year. Booked out the entire back garden. All heated, loads of comfy seats and the owner was happy for us to order in our own food. Really loved in. I'll be back there real soon...

A most unexpected find. Coffee and paninis by day, bar by night. The hidden, huge, warm and comfy outside area at the back is the perfect place to chill.

came across this cafe while i was in the area. quirky cafe and cool coffee. what a novelty to have a (not so) secret outdoor beer garden. thumbs up for me!

I'm not sure what the other reviewers have experienced but I've been frequenting Cafe del Marsh for about 2 years and I've never had a bad experience there. I've visited in the afternoon and evening and the atmosphere has always been great. Brilliant music, the bar owner and girls have always been cheery and helpful, great coffee and the paninis are out of this world! The garden is fantastic and lovely in the afternoon sun. I went there last week and the owner has put up a brilliant projector and screen to show the world cup games and the vibe was brilliant. I definitely recommend this place. Nicest cafe in Waterloo.

The rudest owner I have ever met. Went in, asked for a coffee, he wasn't even at the bar and said "Can't you wait a second?" and then "I want to close soon today, so hurry with that coffee". The garden is dirty and the bathroom is just disgusting.

I had high hopes for this cafe. Lovely atmoshphere. Yet on my 5th time there I went with a friend at around 4pm. We each ordered a cappuccino each and were clearly talked about by the owner and his mates. When we asked what the matter was they told us we had spent too little and we were asked not to return to the cafe again. I was extremely disappointed andsh ocked that ordering two coffees for 2 people at a coffee shop is underspending.
