Amazing!! An intimate cafe with friendly staff. I had the Green Shakshuka, was not disappointed. I will be back to try the many other variations of Shakshuka they have!

Located at the entrance to Stables Market, Camden is this cute little cafe. This place has to be on everyone's 'must visit in London list for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Shakshuka lovers I challenge you to find a better tasting shakshuka in London. What you get for a very reasonable price is an authentic and fresh dish full of flavour minus the airfare to the Milddle East. There are so many choices so I asked the waitress which was most popular and I decided to go for that, Balkan which is covered with creamy feta cheese. My friend had the Green Shakshuka which was also great. The signature dish is the Homeshuka, grandmas recipe. All come with a side of bread to soak up the tasty juices and the flavours are mouth watering, so fresh and tasty. The drinks are also top notch, from Monmouth coffee to the fresh fruit smoothies. The only problem you'll face is what to order from the menu. To add for the health conscious, the dishes are all under 500 calories and fairly healthy and packed with goodness! The owners have a few restaurants in Israel, all named after ladies names. I'm hoping I will have one named after me soon :) The staff are extremely friendly and the service was impeccable. You can see how popular this place is by the number of walk ins and busy tables. I'd recommend booking in advance or if you do stumble by it be prepared for a short wait, but believe me it will be worth the wait. I have attached a photo so you can see one of the amazing dishes for yourself but for a real experience I highly recommend you pay them a visit and if this doesn't tempt you go and check out their Instagram page for more photos.

If you're a shakshuka fanatic this place is for you! They have 7-8 versions of this dish along with other breakfast items but ofcurse the star is the shakshuka. In addition to the menu you can get extra ingredients added to your dish so if you have ever had a dream shakshuka, here is the place to get it created! We have the Balkan and the spicy shakshukas and they were both very tasty. The bread that comes with the dishes are perfect to dip in the eggs ( hello, #yolkporn moment) and also every dish comes with a tasty hummus on the side. Great place to have a hearty breakfast in the middle of the crazy Camden Market!

Came here in the evening to try their shakshuka and was left really impressed. First off, this is an oasis of peace and quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of Camden Market, with comfy cute seating and its own little space reserved at the back of the market

The shakshuka is quite extensive, all offering different versions of the classic dish that are all unique and appetising. We opted for the homeshuka which is essentially served with hummus and pita, and my girlfriend had the Balkan which comes spiked with huge amounts of feta cheese.

Both shakshuka were packed with flavour and had that great fresh and simple flavours. You could taste all the ingredients but nothing was overpowering, and was a lovely, fairly healthy dinner. Really loved the pitta bread actually instead of their standard one, so I'd be tempted to ask for the pitta with any flavour next time I go back.

All in all, a wonderful cafe that deserves to be congratulated for sticking to its guns in such a commercialised/touristy area!

They undoubtedly have the best Shakshuka in London. Lots of different varieties including vegan and veggie. Authentic and tasty, plus great service. You can tell it's good as it's always packed with everyone ordering their favourite shakshuka. Good coffee too. Perfect Camden cafe and a firm favourite.

This is one of my favourite cafes in London! Not only do they do the best Shakshukas (they have about 10 variations!!) but also their coffee is amazing! It's such a cute little cafe under the rail arches... it's the perfect place to hide away with a book or your laptop!

Café Loren placed in the heart of Camden Market in one of the entrances to the Stables Market. Is owned and run by Lee who has a passion for delicious, ethically sourced food and drinks. The signature dish - Shakshuka is synonymous with breakfast in the muddle east. It's a dish of 2 organic eggs braised in a fresh. homemade tomato based sauce, slow roasted using a blend of vegetables and spices. Shakshuka is the best dish I ever ate. The coffee there is amazing, really premium Italian coffee!
