Keep an eye out for the live music at this Green Park branch of the Caffe Concerto chain. The occasional jazz band and piano performances accompany cocktails, cakes, glasses of wine and an Italian food menu featuring dishes such as bruschetta, fritto misto, chicken Milanese and spinach and ricotta ravioli. Afternoon teas are available too, as are larger cakes to take away.

I found myself in Piccadilly and, after having walked past the alluring sweets-decorated windows of The Grand a couple of times, I simply had to go in and have a meal there. The gold and marble decor was stunning, and the whole place was showered in the light of the exquisite chandeliers. Would definitely recommend the burrata salad, although at £23 for two bottles of mineral water and a salad, I find it a bit overpriced.

I think it's newly opened and was surprised to see my bank account billed by Caffe Concerto (which has another restaurant just on the opposite side of the street), but I guess they do have the Grand Caffe Concerto chain (the fancier version of their restaurant), so makes sense.

This restaurant is situated opposite Green Park and The Ritz on busy Piccadilly but on entering, the space oozed an air of calm which we both welcomed.  We went on a weekday lunchtime and received a courteous welcome and offered a choice of seats (it was less than half full).  My friend and I each had the mushroom risotto which was very acceptable (though stickier than I like), the service impeccable and the prices reasonable, considering the location.  A very relaxing and pleasant experience.

Not sure why last reviewer is so harsh.   General food quality is fine and the service was friendly.   Not outstanding but perfectly pleasant.

Appalling.  Quality of food is laughable and an insult to Italian. Service not worth 12.5% charge. Avoid at all costs: a meal from Prets will cost half as much and be 20 times better.
