Many years ago, we fell in love with the vibrancy of Buenos Aires, a city where cosmopolitan sophistication collides with an irresistibly chaotic energy. It’s a beguiling, emotional and all embracing place to be.
When we started CAU, our vision was to capture that spirit in a restaurant that would fit right into the heart of Palermo, Buenos Aires. If we could replicate that vitality, passion and sense of fun, we knew CAU would be a place people would want to spend time.
Our menu embraces Buenos Aires cuisine, a melting pot of comfort food inspired by Italy and Spain alongside the jewel in Argentina’s crown, its beef. Mouthwatering steaks, burgers and steak sandwiches are joined by a tempting selection of more-ish favourites, each with a distinctive Buenos Aires twist.
Drop in for some sharing plates and a beer over lunch or savour one of our speciality cuts and a bottle of Malbec over dinner. But don’t forget to leave room for a Corn Flake Ice Cream Sundae.

Visited the new Cau in Kingston last night.  Between our group we tried all the special cuts and argued the rest of the night about which was best.  Great atmosphere and setting too.

Will definitely be back

Nice little steak/burger restaurant made better by the lovely riverside setting.  The service was a little slow at times but they were also absolutely jam packed, so that is understandable.  Everyone enjoyed their meals and the wine that accompanied.  Would definitely choose Cau over some of the other chains available on the riverside!

Great reputation, sadly let down by delays in food delivery, food quality and a manager who hasn't a clue how to talk to or commiserate with his customers, or indeed has any idea of what's going on in his own restaurant. Dreadful place.

Loved my meal at the new Cau in Kingston last week. Great food and great service in a cracking venue. Definitely a welcome addition to the area, and somewhere I'll be heading back to!
