Cha Cha Moon

Please note, this branch of Cha Cha Moon is now closed. Time Out Food & Drink editors, Oct 2016.

This Chinese noodle bar on Ganton Street was set up by Alan Yau (of Hakkasan and Yauatcha fame). He's no longer running things here, but the original concept – accessible regional food from across China – remains.

Dishes range from laksa, Szechuan chicken noodle soups and crispy duck salads to kung pao chicken, yellow lamb curry, crispy noodles with shredded chicken and a range of platters, such as the Cha Cha Moon platter – a combo of chicken guotie, prawn guotie, fried beancurd, spring rolls, Szechuan wonton, mini youtiao, seaweed and dipping sauces.

A varied drinks list ranges from a short wine list and Tiger beer to Asian-inspired cocktails, fresh juices and a selection of tea and coffee. There's a local delivery service, too.
