Run by a husband-and-wife team of burger obsessives, the menu at this stall reads like a quirky love letter to the humble patty. Offering a dazzling range of homemade relishes (Jack Daniels jam, anyone?) every Cheeky Burger comes pimped up with a little surprise: from a thick, juicy patty served with grilled onions and wonderfully nutty peanut butter (Cheeky Elvis, £8.50), or a ‘classic’ Cheeky Cheese which swaps the standard packed mince for steak. Admittedly, that last patty was on the tough side, and some of the sauces were a little greasy, but if it’s creativity you’re looking for, Cheeky Burger gets my vote.
