Chelsea Riverside Brasserie

There are some lovely views of Chelsea Harbour – and out toward the Thames – at this Chelsea Harbour Hotel restaurant. The look here is every bit as swanky as you would expect from a dining room at a five-star Chelsea hotel.

Expect classic brasserie fare, with British and European dishes covering breakfast through to dinner. Ingredients are locally sourced where possible, and governed by seasonality. Cocktails include a lychee daiquiri, a mango margarita and a pear martini.

I received a voucher for my birthday to have afternoon tea for two at the riverside brasserie in the Chelsea harbour hotel and I must say it is one of the best presents I've had!

On arrival to the swanky 5* venue we were told that we had a table inside but could go onto the balcony if we liked, as it was a gloriously sunny day we jumped at the chance and were pleased to see we had most of the balcony to ourselves.

The staff were very conscientious and polite, checking on us throughout to see if everything was ok. I didn't think an afternoon tea would be very filling as it is mostly made up of finger sandwiches and small cakes but I left feeling stuffed and my daughter couldn't even finish hers. The food was lovely and the scones, freshly made, were the best I have tasted and I am quite a fan of scones and eat them regularly!

Lovely experience and great views of Chelsea marina, would definitely recommend.
