Its just the best, when my friends come and stay they demand a chilangos at some point

Of the many burrito outlets in Angel, Chilango leads the pack. The décor is fresh and funky, and the food is tasty. You can check out their wide range of options - from burritos to bowls, nachos and (for the more health conscious) salads.

The staff are friendly and super speedy, so the queue moves at a brisk pace.

The homemade lemonade is always tempting, and in case you want to eat inside there's plenty of seating - mostly up the fancy spiral staircase.

Chilango is the best place for burritos in my opinion. I know it’s only a take-away chain but I love it. The food tastes really fresh. I especially like the prawn burrito option (you don’t get that everywhere!). The drinks are also fabulous. Try the home-made lemonade, it’s so good. Or maybe a cheeky frozen margarita?

The cherry on top of the cake is the staff though. They’re the nicest… And they will always crack up a joke or two. They make me laugh and make me feel more than welcome. Big up to Chilango!

I think these may be the best on-the-go mexican in town.  I've previously been a fan of benito's hat for a burrito or bowl, but chilango's meats are by far and a way better.

Highly recommend the pork belly - and get a generous serving of guacamole.  I would add that it's one of the few places I've seen that do freshly cooked steak and prawns.

Pair with a strawberry frozen margarita!

For the chilli fiends - the only downer is their spicy salsa is definitely not spicy enough! Ask for added jalapenos (and if you eat in, add their habanero sauce)

The restaurant has rolled out across the city but the Islington one is the original. Great place to grab a Mexican meal on-the-go.

For someone who hasn’t been to Chilango it is a bit like a Mexican version of a subway, only way better and way more awesome. You choose what type of food you want, burrito, taco, even the salads looks great. Then you choose your filling, the pork belly is incredible, you choose how spicy you want it and any extras you want. It can be to take away or you can sit in and admire the cool décor, the story of the company is up on the walls, beside the pictures of Mexican wrestlers of course! And you can wash down your meal with some fresh lemonade, beer or frozen margarita. The food is delicious, the staff are excellent, overall the place is a treat.
