Com Viet is by far one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in central London outside of the pho mile in Hoxton.  The food is good, and the prices are reasonable (unlike some of the hipstery vietnamese places in Soho).  The waiting staff is attentive and service is very fast.

By far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London. I came in here by accident with a group of friends, when we were looking for dinner to eat in Covent Garden and everywhere was full. I was so impressed that I have been back many times since. There is seating upstairs but they also have a really spacious downstairs area with large booths that can sit around 7 people. Try and get one of these if you can! The staff are lovely and the food is not only super tasty (and not greasy), it is also reasonably priced for the location. I would recommend getting a few things to share and trying the stir fried duck breast or the Com Viet grilled sea bass if you are there for dinner with quite a few people.

Just a stone throw from Chinese food haven, Garrick Street, Com Viet brings another taste of authentic Asian cuisine to the West End, these time in the form of Vietnamese.

A cosy, no-fuss restaurant around the corner from Covent Garden, Com Viet brings a knowledge of fresh, Vietnamese flavours to a menu of extensive variety. Their lunch menu, super reasonably priced at £9 including a soft drink, a starter and a main, is popular and means that booking ahead is worthwhile. The salt and pepper squid is light and crispy served with a garnish of garlic and chilli which packs a punch. The slow cooked pork served with rice is tasty; the pork melts in your mouth in a rich garlic and fish sauce.

The flavours here aren’t super modern or sophisticated; if you are wanting cutting edge Asian cuisine, head elsewhere, as Com Viet is all about the traditional, comforting big flavours. And you can’t get more comforting than their warming Pho which is perfect on a cold winter’s day, served traditionally with a side of garnishes so you can tailor your own with chilli, coriander and mint.

For a working lunch or a quick pre- theatre dinner, Com Viet is a definite winner.

Com Viet is a very friendly restaurant, food taste amazing, fresh and authentic. The staff was helpful at explain the dishes. price was very reasonable for central and right at the heart of Covent Garden. Best vietnamese food in town, Love it and definitely recommended
