Countertalk Cheesecake-Off

You've probably noticed that Londoners are never more than six feet away from an artisanal tiramisu at the moment. It's hard to trace the origins of the Italian dessert craze, but Countertalk's 2021 event Tiramisu-Off might well have had something to do with it. Now, Countertalk is back with a sweet new get-together for independent chefs, bakers, and keen foodies alike.

Its Cheesecake-Off has invited a crew of big industry names to whip up some delectable dairy desserts, including Big Mamma Group, Cakes & Bubbles by Albert Adrià, Honey & Co, Barrafina, Bad Boys Pizza Society, Donostia and Elliot’s. Each team will cook up over 200 portions of their signature cheesecake for guests to gorge on, and to cast their vote in the People's Choice award. The official winners will be decided by a high-profile judging panel including Ravneet Gill, who'll have to decide how they like their cheesecake: burnt and basque, whipped and airy, or rich and New York-style. Your ticket includes one drink and seven portions of high-end cheesecake, so come prepared to do some serious guzzling.
