What an awful encounter! I came here with a friend to grab a simple Nutella crêpe as an afternoon snack but was shocked with the entire experience.

Firstly, I waited far too long for my order even though it was the simplest flavour to make. The 'Cheeky', as they've named it, is a crêpe filled with Nutella spread. However, it took them more than 15 minutes to prepare. This came as a shock because it doesn't take long to make a crêpe on the crêpe machines and they already had pre-made crêpes sitting in a pile, which they were using!

Secondly, the café wasn't even that crowded so I didn't understand why I had to wait so long for such a simple order. There was no queue at the cashier, as most customers were already seated waiting for their orders.

Thirdly, given that there were 2 women preparing the crêpe orders and making more than one crêpe at a time on each machine, it shouldn't have taken them so long. As my friend and I stood there watching them prepare the orders, we also heard other customers complaining amongst themselves.

Fourthly, because my friend and I were watching them make each order, we got to see how slowly they were both working. Most of the crêpe combinations that they were preparing consisted of a maximum of 3 toppings but they didn't seem to have any sense of urgency, as customers waited for their orders.

Lastly, just before I received my order, I heard the cashier telling incoming customers that the crêpe machine was 'broken' and that they could no longer take orders. This came as a shock yet again because there was still a pile of pre-made crêpes that the 2 women were preparing orders with. A crêpe batter truly isn't difficult to make and consists of simple ingredients, so it really isn't justified having them pre-made and yet moving so slowly to complete orders. The excuse of a 'broken' crêpe machine also isn't justified because the surfaces that the 2 women were using to prepare the orders with is a crêpe machine! They were fully functioning and could easily have made more crêpes.

Honestly such a disappointment. Something so simple shouldn't have to be pre-made nor should it take so long to complete an order for crêpes.

It's amazing, best place in London, wouldn't choose anywhere else to eat a crepe.
