A hip coffee shop in central Camberwell.

This light, airy little box of a coffee shop is more spartan than other objectively ‘hip’ spots – there’s still a dog with a scarf, art students in ill-fitting trousers and snazzy café merchandise on the walls – but it’s extremely well appointed. The coffee is excellent, the menu of own-brand daily brews listed on a blackboard (espresso on our visit is a Latamba from DR Congo). A San Fernando filter, smooth and satisfying with a few berry and herbal notes, is served in a Hario brew jug – an arch nod to the process but promising nonetheless. Food spans standards like pimpable avo toast, sourdough with interesting jams (grapefruit anyone?) and some very fine cakes, including an astounding peanut butter and jam blondie. I’ve had a lot of good things in my mouth, but this was up there with the best of ‘em.

It’s not the quickest service in the world but the coffee is good. I’m yet to have the waffles but if looks are anything to go by they won’t disappoint.

Great service and coffee.

What I dont like about this place is the fact that it is quite dark inside and often cold. The door was left open several times as I visited this place even in winter so I did not feel that cosy as in Lumberjack or Nero Cafe.

The best coffee in South London, amazingly friendly staff and some great grocery bits to boot! Love it x

Awesome coffee. Nice (if rather hipster) staff. Decent wifi and all round pleasant vibe. I'll be back there soon...

Great coffee. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. The best grilled cheese sandwich ever!

Really GOOD coffee - and tasty bites. Was made welcome with my kids by the friendly staff and there are good baby changing facilities!

Try the grilled cheese sandwich with Neal's Yard cheddar, red onion, chives and harissa. A weekend favourite.

Cute as hell little coffee shop with a young team doing a cracking job. As well as stocking lots of locally made products (Ali Baba juice for example) they also hold fun events in the evenings: exhibitions, parties and have a license for booze. Often you'll walk past to find lots of people spilling out onto the street of an evening. Great energy in the evening, fun and relaxing in the daytime.

The friendly baristas at Daily Goods served up a flat white so fabulous and flawless I thought I had gone to heaven. The chocolate and cherry cookie was scrumptious too. It's quite a spacious coffee shop and there's a chilled out atmosphere. They also serve a selection of sandwiches.
