Da fuq happened here?! That was my internal reaction after leaving here last Tuesday night after dinner. My friend and I waited a bit for the menus, for starters, even though there was practically no one in there. The waiter/owner/manager/whatever finally came over and we ordered the goat cheese and beetroot and grilled peppers and aubergine starters to share. The goat cheese round is perfect to split between two but the peppers plate is a bit small.

We also ordered a glass of Sauv Blanc each: nothing great but decent enough. Really disappointed with the limited wine options if you don't order a bottle.

Soooo here's where it goes further downhill... We finished our food and wine, and waited. And waited some more for the waiter to return so we could order more food and more glasses of wine. But, alas, he was way more interested in chatting it up with a girl at the bar and drinking his own glass of wine.

Finally, we had to approach him and he told us "Oh the kitchen is closed, you didn't tell me you wanted more food." Seriously WTF. It's YOUR job to serve us NOT for us to chase after you.

Seriously, this shit would never fly in NY. London fails so hard sometimes.

Excellent Wine, excellent food and Edwin was delightful in sharing information regarding French regions of wine and food.  We had a lovely dinner at Edwin's French Wine Bar!
