The name of this Antipodean-style café is certainly curious. Have they filled it by scouring the beach for odds and ends hurled from broken boats and shipwrecked ships? The attractive interior here suggests not - though there are bulkhead wall lights, and one large table could, perhaps, have been made from driftwood.

The food is certainly fresh. Expect dishes such as pineapple bircher muesli, smashed avocado and feta with pickled chilli, lime, mint and poached egg on rye sourdough, buttermilk pancakes and an array of cakes and pastries at the counter. There are Crosstown doughnuts, too.

Coffee is supplied by Allpress Espresso, tea by T2. These are served alongside freshly squeezed juices, Karma colas and sodas from Luscombe.

Please note, Flotsam & Jetsam does not take bookings.

Our refreshing menu appeals to all, and we believe in using the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers to create the perfect brunch.

Stunning cafe off Wandsworth common. Perfect for a lazy Saturday/Sunday afternoon. Always really busy with a great atmosphere. Great coffee and brunch food.

Try the tumeric latte! Yum!

A friendly Atipodean café right on the banks of Wandsworth common, about a 3 minute walk from the station. It serves great coffee and the croissants are huge! The service is excellent and I would not hesitate to go back. I like the rustic feel but also that the décor takes into account all the little details that a coffee shop needs, artisan coffee goods for sale adorn the walls and there is plenty of open brickwork.

Staff are always so friendly, food is healthy and delicious, and even when they are super busy the quality of the food and the presentation is always the same. Coffee is delicious too!

I love this place. All the staff know me I go there so much. Melbourne Breakfast Tea is my favourite\11

Food and coffee hits the mark and fulfills the Sunday brunch fantasies I harbour during the week. Super friendly and takes it's coffee seriously.

Such a great brunch spot! Food is delicious and the staff are friendly. They also hire out the venue for parties and the food catered is amazing.

Hands down fave spot in London let alone Wandsworth. Awesome seasonal menu, great coffee andsuper friendly staff!

Best coffee, best staff and nails the personal touch - Best coffees and breakfast/brunch in SW

Best breakfast spot in South London. The quintessential local cafe - friendly staff who make the effort to get to know you and your favourite items on the menu, great selection of meals and excellent coffee.

Welcoming, charming, stylish, superb coffees, creative beetroot latte and the food is fresh homemade and heartwarming. It is truely an exceptional place. Make sure you get there early at the weekend as it gets busy but what else do you expect when somewhere is this good.

Perfect little cafe, next to the Common. Delicious coffee and cakes, great food and staff, AND they're dog friendly!!

Fun, friendly and fantastic. Great food, coffee and some southern hemisphere hospitality.

Flotsam & Jetsam is THE BEST cafe in London - the coffee is amazing, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. My favourite brunch is - Eggs Beneditct with a side of avo and a flat white! How lucky we are to have F&J in London.

Exceptional food and Flat whites made like they should be. Extremely friendly staff, great value for money and the best bunch in London

Coffee is out of this world. Staff are friendly & helpful. Food is superb. Atmosphere & decor lovely. They let your dog come inside! It's my favourite cafe in London.

Best brunch in london the eggs benedict and avo smash is absolutely delicious. They do really really good coffee too!

F&J Smashed Avo is the best in the South West! Plus they do epic coffee, cakes and it's super dog-friendly :)

Flotsam & Jetsam is my fave brunch venue. Food is incredible, as is the service. I honestly can't fault it. Lovely vibe in F&J on Saturday and Sunday mornings either for a take away or a sit down. The photo on here just doesn't do it justice! F&J is my choice for brunch everytime. Try won't be disappointed!

Fantastic service, friendly staff, great atmosphere and my favourite coffee

We travel all the way from Surrey to this cafe. Love the food, love the staff, love the place. Keep up the great work.

Love this cafe! Great coffee and the brunch is delicious-especially the pancakes. Service is great too and there's always a nice vibe inside (and outside on the warmer days too). Would definitely recommend!

Incredible atmosphere, even more incredible food and owned by some of the nicest people you will find on this planet!

Great café, amazing food and fantastic service! The perfect place for weekend brunch

Excellent café, great food (especially the pancakes), welcoming and cheerful staff and best of all very good coffee.

Since they opened at the beginning of the year Flotsam & Jetsam has become the place for Wandsworth Common residents to brunch at the weekends, and just a stones throw away from Nappy Valley weekdays are just as popular! Dog friendly with delicious coffee and fantastic food, they can do no wrong. In summer sit outside with views of the common and come winter shelter inside the cosy cafe and let the nautical theme take you back to holidays on the beach in Cornwall. The smashed Avocado is a personal favourite of mine, but the menu offers something for everyone, so definitely give it a try! While popular you can't make reservations, but don't let this put you off, they have an effective queuing system and I've never had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes!

A lovely spot for brunch with some outside tables should the sunshine be out. My one and only complaint is the inconsistency in portion size. On my first visit I was impressed as brunch in London usually equates to a measly portion, the meal I received was on the larger size so I was left feeling suitably satisfied. On my second visit I was left wondering if my breakfast was coming in two stages as it was barely half the size as previous.
