Franco Manca serves delicious pizza with freshly baked dough & broad selection of toppings; from classic to more unusual ones.

After last visit in one of Franco Mancas a few months back, which was a bit disappointing, I decided to give it a break, feeling a bit that the expansion affected the quality of their food.

However, today they won my heart back. This small and super busy environment wasn't a promise a great lunch experience. I felt a bit squashed and neglected by the staff but when the pizza arrived I was so drawn to it, the rest didn’t matter anymore. Their Napolitana was one of the best pizza’s ever! The combination of flavours (with pesto, anchovies, capers, olives, loooots and garlic and even more cheese) was a marriage made in heaven.

The pizza was moist and soft with pillowy edges, I couldn’t have enough of it. Franco Manca got back to my top list today, hope it will stay there for good.

Simple decor, friendly and efficient staff, enticing smells of freshly baked dough with a hint of basil and a (fairly) straightforward menu- you can’t really go wrong whatever you choose in this cozy Broadway market hotspot. Options range from classics such as tomato, mozzarella and basil to slightly more creative toppings like home cured ham with mozzarella, buffalo ricotta and wild mushrooms. Pair it up with a craft beer or organic lemonade and you are ready for a very tasty experience.

Lovely place sometimes really busy but worthy to give it a try. Very nice pizza and good service.

This is everything I’d want in a restaurant. It’s lovely inside, with plenty of light and the great big pizza ovens wafting heat and scent through the restaurant. The pizza itself is as good as everybody says. There isn’t a lot of variety in the toppings, but what they do they do excellently. Think anchovies paired with capers, just the right amount of saltiness and tartness, or spicy sausage or chorizo. The wine is also great, with a short but well-chosen list, all incredibly low prices. You can easily do dinner for two with a pizza each and a shared bottle of wine for around £35, which in that area, and for that quality, is amazing.

An authentic snippet of Naples on Broadway market. It was a stunner of summer's evening, we strolled along the Regents canal turning off towards London fields, into a haven of al fresco drinking and dining. The crowd was cool and trendy in a refreshingly unpretentious way. Franco Manca sits near the top end of this characterful street, on the right hand side. You can't book but the staff were amazingly welcoming, took our names, offered us bottles of beer whilst we waited. We mooched around taking in the atmosphere, as everyone relaxed and chatted. Our table was ready quicker than anticipated, we had a prime spot to watch the chefs at work.

The staff all Italian happily shared their unique pizza cooking technique all centred around their "Tuff" impressive wood burning oven, packing a heat of 500 degrees. A little mesmerised by the explosion of sourdough in the extreme heat, as pizzas appeared ready from dough to plate in 90 seconds. The ingredients all mouthwatering and classic Neapolitan flavours, expect tons of mozzarella, chorizo and tomatoes. The only downside I could mention is the wine, not a great offering stick to an aperol spritz and their no logo bottled beers a steel at £3.35 The quality of food and service is excellent, but what really makes this place is the amazing value for money.

It really is hands down the BEST £6.95 I have ever spent on a pizza. Go hang out of the fields after in the sun, or pop in for a tipple at the Cat and Mutton on the way home.

Franco Manca never fails to disappoint. There are always a bunch of lively Italians waiters behind this successful chain and a love for Neapolitan style pizza. They are currently in every prominent area in London and expanding. There is probably one near every Londoner by now. The Formula? Keep the price more realistic than most other pizza chains

Great little spot on Broadway Market - delicious sourdough pizza and great prices.

I have to say, my visit to Franco Manca in London Fields was completely  opposite to Valentina. Great service, flawlessly clean restaurant and mouthwatering fluffy pizza!

We found a cockroach in pizza! The dinner with my friends was absolutely disgusting. The staff seemed already prepared for this type of problem. I suggest not going to eat pizza to Franco Manca in Goodge Street - 98 Tottenham Court Road , London! October 2014.
