Since 1937 Kelly’s daytime caff has been serving minced beef pie, mash, ‘liquor’ (parsley sauce) and eels (hot or jellied) to the street traders of Roman Road market. The menu has grown to include vegetarian pies and apple crumble, but in the simple white-tiled interior you’ll still sit at benches alongside ravenous costermongers.

The fact that it's now open Sunday afternoons is an added bonus. A hot beef pie, that bursts with gravy and juice as you bite into it is the perfect Saturday lunchtime pickmeup.
One of the best meals you can have. Pies freshly baked and mash as smooth as silk and the liqueur the greenness of pea soup what else can a person want to eat
The pie and mash shop for miles the pies are always tasty the mash always lumpy and the liquor is the best.
Great Pie. Great Mash. And without a doubt the best Mince Pies at Christmas time, that Ive ever tasted. (and Ive tasted a lot!)

Keeping up the East End tradition on the Roman Road. All the food is homemade and still run by the Kelly family. Get your two and two with loads of liquor (although mine is a veggie pie)
