This place is ridiculous in all the right ways.  I ended up here towards the end of a long evening catching up with an old friend and of course we ended up doing garlic vodka shots.  The staff are really friendly and the venue has a fantastic and quirky atmosphere.  We didn't eat but other people around us were and the food looked pretty good so I'd definitely keep it in mind if I fancied somewhere a bit out of the ordinary in future.

If you love garlic then this is definitely the place for you as almost everything has garlic in it.  The food was tasty but the best bit is their large selection of shots - some of them worked well with the garlic and some did not but we had a very enjoyable evening.  We didn't make it down to the basement but judging by the people we saw going down it would be a fun place to hang out.

Totally not sure about this place. Been once quite late when very boozy and had a good time, the basement is dark, dingy with loud music which is fun for an end of night spot. Tried to go for a casual drink in the upstairs part on another occasion though and were told we had to sit downstairs which was not what we were after. Also the downstairs card machine doesn't work properly so you have to go back up to pay. All a bit weird.

Whoever the girl is who was working downstairs one day when a guy was being roudy and sexist, she won my respect and admiration for swiftly organising his exit from the place and making sure we were ok. Ive been there on more than one occasion and every time (even though I wouldn't consider myself rock!) i felt really at home and comfortable. great place.

I love this place! Its dark enough you're a bit worried about what you're sitting on, the staff are just the right amount helpful/sassy and you always seem to be able to get a table.

It's old school rock and roll type venue, not many bars like this around anymore and I hope it stays. Much better than the eerie-shiny bars that seem to be cropping up in the area.

The food is actually pretty good- ribs and chips, although feels odd eating in such a dark place. Try some of the chilli or other flavoured shots, you'll end up staying longer than you thought you would!

Never eaten the food, but if you go down into the cellar, you'll find a wonderful cavern to have drinks with your friends. Many wonderful evenings spent here.
