A legendary establishment in the Asian community, this restaurant has been long known as 'THE PLACE' to eat, serving up fresh and very authentic dishes to droves of people looking for the real deal.
Easily mistaken as a run-of-the-mill curry house, this my fellow foodie, is certainly not that. The uninspired décor and slap dash style of customer service takes getting used to, but once you experience the signature Mixed Grill and Karahi dishes, it becomes an experience hard to forget.
In fact, if you’ve ever travelled to the Indian sub-continent, this becomes a slightly nostalgic throwback to that rough around the edges style, where flavour and authenticity reign supreme, especially over customer service and presentation that is.
Keep this one in your back pocket for the days when you want to escape the drum of the high street and the self-important faff of the more expensive establishments. Try the signature Karahi dishes along with the Harissa (crushed Lentils, Lamb and Spinach) and Raghni Naan out the naans is particularly good!
