The Golden Phoenix in Chinatown is cool. Being a mother it has a sizable ground floor, handy for the buggy unlike a lot of restaurants in Chinatown. The food was tasty, though I can't comment on the prices as someone else paid. The lobster noodles were full of flavor and generous with the lobster. The sweet deep fried pork and chilli chicken dishes were really delicious. The dim sum selection was really interesting. The steamed sea bass was fresh and full of flavour.  Everyone wanted seconds. Great place for dinner with family. Friendly staff.

Went here for a lunchtime dim sum fix to takeaway, and was unfortunately met with slightly rude service :( we also had to stand outside to wait. The pork dumplings however, were very tasty, and a generous portion for the price of a meal deal!

Dim sum fix!

One of better places in China Town for dim sum in my opinion. Staff were accommodating. Menu full of variety and there are good vegetarian options to choose from. Oooh and lots of different spring rolls too mmm... We left with happy bellies and satisfied that our dim sum craving was fulfilled 😛.

Wheelchair access ✔️. There is a big step at the main entrance, but there is a ramp to get in another door on the side. Accessible toilets are located on the ground floor.
