As far as venues go, Grow has got it pretty good. Firstly, it's right beside the River Lea, so the views are delightful. Secondly, you can not only get a drink here, not only sit down for a bit to eat, but also watch a live band (from reggae to jazz and everything in between) or art performances, enjoy a fun-filled after-school club (if you have little 'uns) and dance with DJs until midnight.
From our canalside smoker, Slow Fire London conjure up the tastiest of meat and vegan dishes throughout the week, ending on a Sunday with a roast. We offer 10% off all kitchen orders for live jazz Wednesdays and our arts and music night on Thursdays too.
From the bar, choose from craft drinks including Korev from St Austell Brewery, Wyld Wood organic cider, our house organic wine and prosecco from Vintage Roots, locally distilled spirits, mulled wine and cider, fair trade tea and coffee and locally made cakes.
Whatever day you come, whether for the live music, to dance in the evening or just relax with friends and family in our garden canal side terrace or venture into the intimate space inside (or do it all in one visit!), we look forward to meeting you...

Gem of a place, fantastic atmosphere, lovely food, fab people and great vibe...had such a great night last night.
Great little place to hang out. Inside as well as outside. Reasonable prices, quality products and super nice staff. I'll be spending many evenings this winter enjoying some of the great events they put on, just hope it doesn't loose its vibe like some of the other bars in hackney wick.
Fantastic place with a great vibe! Excellent local and organic booze and street food pop-ups. Often live music and community events. Lovely beer garden right on the river - my favourite place in the Wick!
