Time Out says

This is an immensely popular all-day breakfast and brunch spot on Dalston Lane, just down from Dalston Junction. Expect traditional full English breakfasts, omelettes, eggs served with bacon jam, various hash dishes and the French Toasty - French toast filled with banana, chocolate and peanut butter. It's served with maple syrup, too.

The best breakfast in London, not just Hackney, served in stylish contemporary surroundings.

Best breakfast in London. Staff are attentive and happy to cook anything within reason. 110 out of 100

Meat - and then some. Hash's dishes have both creativity (pulled-pork hash is great) and volume (the Pig Muffin, much-imitated). The service is friendly and my guests never fail to be impressed by the place

DELICIOUS! We had a pulled pork hash and the benedict, that also included a slab of pork and both were excellent. We also had a side of hash tots - tiny little hash brown bites, they were not your regular hash brown (slightly curry-fied) but lovely. It is only tiny but service was fast so noone waited long for a table.

Overall really good for a slightly different take on your regular brunch, highly recommended.

Hash hush...

Honestly, I don't understand the hype about Hash E8. For me it was like any other greasy spoon (except the higher prices). My English breakfast was a mixed experience: the scrambled eggs were tasteless, but the home made beans were delicious. The staff was friendly and fast.

Nice place, but definitely not the best.

Great fresh and tasty food! With a quirky twist on brunch, Polite & friendly staff.
Our go to spot for Sunday mornings

Amazing all day breakfast, such an individual take on classic ideas! I cannot tire of the changing menu. Home made hash browns are to die for!

Absolutely delicious food - the Hash E8 menu is really different and innovative...and their portions are so generous. Highly recommend it!

Greatt food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Choosing is really difficult - it's all so tempting. Delicious!

I was a vegetarian and kosher before I found this place... Well no more and never again I hasten to add. Piggy muffin heaven best brekkie in London hands down.

Incredible brunch! Always something new and exciting on the menu to try. Staff are also amazingly friendly :)

I have to say that was the nicest cooked breakfast for a long time. Great taste with a twist of originality

Fav breakfast by far. The eggs benedict with pork belly sends me over the edge. Nom!

A better hangover cure is yet to be discovered. And their bloody Mary's the answer to all your problems.

The food wAs amazing and the staff was really friendly aswell. Lovely restaurant

Unusually, equally amazing for vegetarians like myself and meat eaters. Apparently the pork belly is out of this world and the beats and sweets breakfast is herbivorous utopia. Easily Hackney's best.

Superb food made with amazing ingredients and - v importantly - love. Fantastic!

One of the top 5 brunch spots in London without a shadow of a doubt. I live about 6 miles away, but i would wake up early with the world's biggest hangover just to have a bite of that ridiculous beetroot and sweet potatoe hash (and if that turns you off.. they have all the classics inclusing a "belly Benedict" which, even though I havent tried, look amazing and is PORK BELLY SLICE, EGGS, ENGLISH MUFFIN, BREAKFAST POTATOES,

HOLLANDAISE, SPINACH, UMAMI DUST"... Yes.. pork belly slice... make the trip. And always Breakfast Like a Sir

Fabulous yummy food in agreat environment with service to match. Need some pig ... Cant wait to go again !

Best breakfast in London, wonderful staff. Must visit and taste for yourself!

Pig muffin......belly benedict........beets & sweets.....French toasty.........pancakes - it's never an easy decision ordering at probably the best breakfast spot in London. Simply answer; Pig muffin to start, and the French toasty for dessert!
