Venue says A creative cafe, bar and hub for independent businesses.

Time Out says

A Homerton café and bar tucked away down at the end of Mackintosh Lane. There's usually plenty going on here, from live music and DJ sets to supper clubs, art exhibitions and life-drawing. And if you want to work? There's hot-desking here, too.

The menu here changes regularly but options might include pumpkin and red bean soup, huevos rancheros, chorizo baps with hummus, rocket and tomato, veggie pasties and a cauliflower, aubergine, chickpea and coconut curry. Drinks include good-quality coffee, matcha tea, Aperol spritz and a selection of beers by the bottle.

Hatch says
A place to grab breakfast or a coffee in the morning or sit and have lunch in the day. Somewhere to get a drink after work. Craft beers, wines and cocktails. Working space for hire to help you realise your projects. A setting for art workshops, talks, film nights and events from local creatives. Right next to Homerton station and open 7 days a week, we offer everything from some of London’s finest pop-up dining clubs to Whip hair salon, handily located on your way home from work.

I could not love Hatch more even if I tried. Frankly I'm surprised I'm not in one of their promotional pictures, as I'm pretty much always there. I leave at least 25% of my salary in Hatch. 100% recommended.

Best place in East London to while away a Sunday afternoon, either working or catching up with friends. Fantastic food and coffee and best of all very friendly staff with a social conscience (discounts for NHS staff and teachers) who also host great events run by locals.

Great for breakfast before you catch a train from Homerton station. Chilli flakes on everything, which is a good start to the day

Good coffee, nice staff, really tasty breakfasts that are easier on the purse than a lot of similar fare in east London. With a brilliant reuse of windows, doors, furniture, brightened up with playful graffiti. Love it.

Great coffee and food, the staff are always very friendly too. It's such a cool space to hang out in and they run some great events sometimes.

One of the most charming and peaceful venues to wine away the afternoon!

Hatch is my haven and inspiration. When you leave, you want to take a piece of it with you. Love these guys.
