Consistently excellent Nepalese food. Never greasy, always well flavoured and takeaways are better than many dine-in restaurants I have been too.
I'm an omnivore but you could easily eat vegetarian here without compromise. The vegetable dishes are superb.
I've visited this restaurant a number of time both with family and friends, in addition to ordering a delivery. I must say that everyone at the Restaurant is friendly and attentive and the food is fantastic. I've never had a bad meal once. I think this is helped by the chef's passion to use fresh locally sourced ingredients for every dish and his total aversion to using any pre-prepared sauces etc. This is the only local restaurant I go to now for Nepalese or Indian food, exquisite combinations of spices. Best tip is to try the Nepalese and special dishes rather than the run of the mill curries. You won't be disappointed!!
Himalayan Kitchen is absolutely fantastic, and just what a local restaurant should be - friendly and welcoming, with the most delicious food on offer. We are so pleased the HK team chose Penge to locate their restaurant, and they have become a firm favourite in the community. They always greet you with a smile and we will often stop to chat on our walk home, they'll always make time to catch up with their customers! Impeccable food, impeccable service!
Friendly staff, lovely environment, wonderful & delicious food..love this takeaway..best takeaway ever!!
Friendly family run business with regional Nepalese recipes that are made with love. And it's great value too
Excellent value for money with a variety of beautifully-cooked Nepalese dishes. Charming service and presentation.
The best curry we have ever eaten! Every order is consistently delicious, fresh and not greasy at all. The family that run this place are also incredibly friendly.
The food and welcome from this family-run business is second-to-none. I am always made to feel valued and welcome. I really can't fault everything about Himalayan Kitchen.
The star in a universe of very ordinary local Indian restaurants. If lamb is a meat you normally avoid because it is as tough as shoe leather in most curries, try theirs! Sourced from a well-known nearby supplier, it is top quality. Flavours of the dishes are wonderful and the service at this small family-run business is the friendliest you will find.
