The Hummingbird bakery were kind enough to donate their cupcakes to my work coffee morning, for Macmillan. They very generously donated over 100 cupcakes, which helped raised over £700.

The cupcakes themselves were so expertly decorated, with delicious and unusual flavours. Our customers absolutely loved them and they were a sell out!

Whenever i see the hummingbird sign, it always brings a smile. I;m addicted to looking through all the cakes and settling on my good old faithful blackbottom cupcake. The kids prefer the red velvet cupcakes and the raspberry lemon cake which they slice is another favourite. The prices are rather steep though would be great if they had offers for multiple purchases, as i always have to buy for 4 people. They do a great deal on a friday though. Where you can treat a friend to a cupcake for free  if you buy one.

The original and best cupcake bakery, I have genuinely never seen so many cakes under one roof! The salted caramel cupcakes are my personal favourite - sticky and delicious but surprisingly not too sweet.

Although it is well known for its cupcakes, be sure to try the amazing whoopie pies too.. they are absolutely divine. Light and fluffy with scrumptious fillings!

It can get very busy and they often run out of particular flavours by close of business, so make sure you arrive early to avoid missing out on your favourites. Service is always with a smile, but remember you may wait a while at busy times.

I love walnuts in my brownies and that's the way Hummingbird make the frosted one. It's always hard to choose! I love the rainbow cake and whoopies too. Personally I find the cupcakes a bit expensive when you could get a whole piece of rainbow cake for the same money!! Although I go to this one more often, the Soho one is just a bit better.

Cute cupcakes in an assortment of flavours. Look out for the specials each week! A great place for kids parties or to pick up that special birthday cake. Their brownies are also scrumptious. On the slightly pricey side but that's why they're such a treat!

I appreciate that the humming birders were there at the start of the cupcake explosion in the UK but I don't think the cake at the hummingbird cafe deserves the accolades it receives. The flavour of both the cakes and icings seem overly artificial. That said their brownies, especially the raspberry cream cheesecake brownie is nice albeit expensive.

I love cupcakes....well actually I love cupcake icing and Hummingbird makes some of the best.  They tend to stick to traditional flavours which work well and always deliver the best quality cupcakes I have found in London.  The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about the different flavours.  They are super friendly and it helps present Hummingbird as a wonderful bakery.  I think they are very reasonably priced and worth every penny.  Try a black bottom.....Delicious!!!

yummy yummy yummy!

Tasted the brownies and the red velvet cupcakes and they were delicious :)

An amazing gem of a bakery. The only downfall is probably the price, but so far, there is simply no other option as you'll never find a bakery quite as good as this one.
