So I never expected a bowl of hummus to be so filling, until I went to Hummus Bros! I also never expected that guacamole could ever be mixed with hummus but I was pleasantly surprised on that count too...

The premise is that you top your bowl of hummus with combinations of grilled veggies, falafel, or proteins and wipe your bowl clean with some hot pitta bread! The pitta and hummus itself was great but the chicken and guacamole toppings lacked flavour for me. The dish also needed some kind of citrus flavour to cut through the hummus, so I'd recommend going for their fresh orange juice or mint lemonade! At £5.50, I'd definitely give it another go as a guilt-free lunch.

I walk past this place quite often and as a big hummus fan it's been on my list a while.

I opted for beef stroganoff with hummus and a side Greek salad plus a fresh mint & ginger lemonade. It came with a wholemeal Pitta too. I upgrade to large and at £10.95 it was the perfect portion size if not too large.

I like how they take a simple thing such as hummus and create different things you probably wouldn't put together. I mean beef & hummus really did it work? Yes it did but I'm glad I had the Pitta to assist in the process!

I would happily visit again to try different flavours and conceptions

It's not exactly going to blow you away but if you want a quick speedy meal and you want to be healthy then this is probably my new go to place.

It's a 4 star as the service wasn't exactly friendly but it was speedy.

I'll pop back to try a chicken one next.

A chickpea worshipers heaven is definitely a good way to describe this place! Bowls crammed full of the tasty little blended peas stacked to the brim with delicious toppings. They even have a chicken and falafel bowl, so double the chickpeas! This is my general go to sans chicken (veggie), and it's honestly so good.

Watch out for the Time Out vouchers than float about for Hummus Bros too, they make this place even better value for money!

Perfect little place to grab lunch, whether you're eating in or out. The dishes are so simple but very tasty and I highly recommend the hummus bowls which is a big portion of hummus with various toppings and warm pitta on the side. The chicken & guacamole and beef & aubergine are two I've had and can happily vouch for.

They also do salads and sides, it's all delicious.

Service is speedy, the restaurant is clean, bright and welcoming, and the food is healthy and tasty. I'm definitely coming back here.

My first visit to Hummus Bros has made me fall in love with them. They serve no fuss, fast, healthy delicious food with instagram worthy presentation. Seriously what's not to love?

I ordered the chicken and falafel salad pot which I have provided a picture of. A side of smokey aubergine that I highly recommend (it doesn't look or taste anything like aubergine but it's amazing!) and an aloe vera juice. All the salad pots come with pitta bread but you can substitute it for carrot sticks, corn chips or gluten free bread - I went for the carrot sticks with a side of corn chips ;)

The only thing I didn't like about the food was the amount of coriander it contained as I hate the stuff. I managed to do a good job of removing it so I still really enjoyed my food. Next time I am going to make sure I ask to have mine without, if your not a fan of it either I recommend you do the same.

There are 5 other Hummus Bros across London and this particular one is a short walk from Holborn. There are not many tables downstairs and unfortunately upstairs was closed when I was there. I shared a table with a stranger which was pleasant enough and the food made up for the lack of space.

Tiny place, 5 minutes walk from Holborn tube station and they have a second floor that they open during lunch hours.

I am a bit of an ignorant with regards to hummus and I usually eat it as a snack with some mini carrots so when I heard about this place I was curious.

I tried the 'Hummus with Chicken & Guacamole and the 'Hummus with Chicken and Falafel' with a Greek Salad as a side.

Everything was delicious and really cheap.

After posting it on Facebook many of my friends showed interest so I'll definitely visit it again.
