Despite the name, there's more to this place than just hummus. It's the City branch of a group that bills each venue as a 'Levantine kitchen', with locations in Soho, Holborn, St Paul's, Exmouth Market and Gray's Inn Road.
Of course, hummus is prominent on the menu, served with warm pitta and topped with options such as tabouleh, chicken and falafel, beef and aubergine and guacamole and falafel. You can add jalapenos, sun-dried tomatoes, tortilla chips and feta, should you wish.
Side dishes include tabouleh, Greek salad, aubergine salad and falafel balls served with cabbage, tzatziki and a tomato and coriander salsa. Desserts include baklava, chocolate brownies and malabi – a milk-based dessert served with date honey.
