Time Out says
The main focus of this Poplar spot is to promote (and sell, of course) Haitian coffee, but there's a lot more to it than that. It doubles as a gallery-cum-event space, with many of the shows and events given over to Haitian artists and performers.
Expect a varying selection of exhibitions and events, with open-mic nights and live music sessions to art exhibitions, coffee tasting evenings, Haitian food pop-ups and charity fundraisers. We're told the coffee is pretty banging, too.

Fab initiative in the heart of an otherwise sad area. Art + Coffee = ... HEAVEN! Our new local!!! (Ed)
The best coffee in the East coupled with great things to do every day, with a warm and friendly team who bring the community together with a smile. Not forgetting the peanut butter muffins...
Fantastic addition to Chrisp Street, Great coffee, tasty Cakes,( including Vegan) and a Variety of Lunch option each day. The Staff are so Friendly and soon start joking around creating a great atmosphere. Loads going on throughout as there is a Gallery/Venue Downstairs, with Yoga, Boxercise and art shows. Monthyl Caribean pop up and and superb Open mic night on the First Wednesday of each month.
The first coffee shop in Chrisp Street, surely something to celebrate! And the cakes are something else...
A friendly welcome, gluten-free cakes and muffins and a genius barista who's works of art look as good as they taste!
