Kape Barako

Time Out says

The guys behind Kape Barako thought it would be a shame for London to lose its iconic red telephone boxes, so they've started to pimp them up a bit and use them to serve coffee, cakes and pastries. This one, on Hampstead High Street, is the first of what they hope to be many.

Expect coffee made with a blend from Five Country Coffee Beans and pastries and cakes from the Bread Factory up in Hendon. Crisps, cans of Coke and milkshakes also feature.

I love this spot, it really is ingenious and shows that you can start a business anywhere.  I would always suggest to anyone to get your coffee from here instead of the other, chain coffee shops in the area.  I had a delicious flat white and lovely customer service too.  It's an adorable touch to have in the area and I am sure a novelty to the tourists who come to hampstead as well.

A truly ingenious idea, brilliantly executed, and serving not just excellent coffee and some unusual teas, but home-made cakes, almond croissants and smoothies, with soups apparently due to come when the cold starts biting.

The best iced latte I have ever had in London!

I went there for the cafe-in-a-phone-box-instagramble shot. And found this little gem is not only a cute photo spot but also serve perfect iced latte! Totally amaze by the good quality espresso and creamy  Cravendale milk they use.

La Crêperie de Hampstead on the opposite street is a must visit place, too.

Not just serving a warm cup of tea or excellent flat white but this thought of having your coffee out of iconic British phone box never fails to put smile on my face☺️

Very nice coffee there! Plus is very interesating the idea of buying coffee in a Phone cabin 😍

Innovative, funky and most importantly amazing coffee, hot and cold drinks, yummy cakes, sandwiches and much much more . How much more can fit in that phone box,? It's a red tardis! !

Great products and service. Proof that good things come in small packages.

Outstanding coffee and personalised service from an enterprising young man who has added vibrancy and humanity to our high street.

The best coffee in Hampstead, always delivered with a happy, friendly smile

Omar is out in all weathers. He always serves with a smile and delivers quality espressos and macha teas at a reasonable price.

People need to try the coffee, it's absolutely fantastic! Good price and would recommend for sure. Great if your passing and need to grab a quick coffee on your way to Hampstead Heath. And Umar supplies the tastiest almond crossaints!!

It's original. The first coffee kiosk, in London, inside a traditional BT red telephone box. And the coffee is simply delicious. Congratulations to Omar and Alona
