I love this place! I work near Vauxhall and go here a couple of times a week and make sure all the newbies at my office are introduced here too. Halil, his wife and the staff are so friendly and always make time to chat and the food is great. Huge portions of all your café favourites with freshly cooked specials every day. My fave is the veggie brunch which keeps me going all day and it's got the best pies in London! Michelle
Can’t recommend highly enough if you are looking for a no fuss, classic English breakfast.
We were on holiday from the US and tired of the touristy breakfasts near our hotel. My wife took us to Kensington Lane Cafe, which was packed with locals, but we pushed our way inside and were so glad we did.
The food was very good and the plates were huge for the price. The owner was also super friendly, and came over to ask about our trip after giving my son some candy.
If you find yourself in the Vauxhall area, certainly give this cafe a try!
Greta food, great staff. Have tried all the cafes around Vauxhall and the Kennington never dissapoints
Amazing service - the friendliest staff who make you feel so welcome and like part of a community! Recommended :)
Great food, great price, great portions! Always a warm and friendly welcome from staff and management alike (no matter how busy.) I work locally and Kennington is always my 1st choice café in the area, along with my colleagues.
Warmth welcome by all staff. Service is impeccable, nice atmosphere and above Halil. Good old Halil. Great guy!!!
A large and varied menu with lots of reasonably priced options (and very large portion sizes) and free tea/coffee refills. All the employees in this family run café are extremely friendly and always try to greet you by first name. I work nearby and will visit this café most days. I've tried all the other cafes in the area and this one is by far the best.
My first visit to the Cafe and was Welcomed by the lovely Manager Halil..with open arms...lovely smiles, delicious breakfast, amazing coffee....Definately going to make this cafe my local...Friendly staff...Brilliant!!!
The best cafe in London. Fantastic menu range and all great value. Lovely staff and friendly welcome on every visit.
The best fry up in town, Friday's fish n chips is excellent and their mixed kebab is very nice. I keep going back, lovely grub!
I have been going to this cafe for the last seven years every Friday for breakfast. Really friendly and great service. Amazing lunch time menu as well. A must experience breakfasts.
Top quality breakfast, this guy didn't pay me 5 bucks to give him a good review, no in all seriousness this is a good café and right across the Royal Vauxhall Tavern where I can enjoy a drag queen show while sipping on a super gay cocktail
Doesn't try to be something else while still being considerably ahead of other local cafes. Restaurant-like variety, and great prices.
