Kua 'Aina

Granted, London is a mere handful of burger joints away from total saturation. But this Soho spot has something others don't: an endorsement from Barack Obama, who frequents Kua 'Aina's flagship Hawaii location when he's back in the state. Menu options include a range of sandwiches and salads, the usual burger options and Obama's favourite: the Avocado Burger. American pancakes and traditional desserts complete the menu, complemented by craft brews imported from Kona Brewing Co. in Hawaii, plus house wines and cocktails.

A great little bar / restaurant tucked away behind Goodge Street station, whenever I come here I feel like I'm on holiday :) The service is always several standards above the rest, and staff friendliness always brings a smile to my face! The atmosphere is unlike others, and the sweet potato fries are so heavenly. Burgers and tuna dishes are always popular! Would definitely recommend!

Good food, lovely staff and interesting interior. I've visited Kua Aina several times - tried salads, sweet potato fries and a tuna steak which was excellent. Drinkwise I would suggest ordering wine and beer as cocktails were not that great. The place is pretty cramped but the atmosphere is great - definitely worth going!

The burgers at this place are stacked so high but even though they are massive I can still never resist the sweet potato fries to go with it.

Wife loves this place, went for a quick burger/sandwich, became the highlight of the night! Food was excellent, quality of the burgers was terrific. Recommend!

Personally, I found this place fairly disappointing in terms of food -  the great decor and atmosphere really led me to expect much more. I had a Huli Huli chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was absolutely lacklustre and had a rock hard and dry chicken breast in between 2 pieces of limp looking poppy seed bread.  Although I did enjoy the sweet potato fries, that barely made up for it. In general, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for the food as my friends did not enjoy it either. However, do check it out if you're looking for a good atmosphere and perhaps some nice instagram pictures...
