There's a familial feel to this Italian style ristorante, pizzeria and deli on Brick Lane. Much of that's down to the fact that many of the recipes on the menu have been handed down from generation to generation - so expect a nod or two to the Nonnas.
Consequently, it's traditional Italian food pretty much all the way. The menu ranges from antipasti such as bruschetta, prosciutto e melone and insalata tricolore to wood-fired pizzas, lasagne al forno, penne all'arrabiata, pollo alla griglia and tagliata di manzo con rucola - sliced sirloin steak with rocket, garlic, rosemary and olive oil. There are burgers too though, for those wishing to veer from the boot.
That can also be easily done when it comes to the drinks list. Wines are led by Italy but Chile, France and Spain also feature. Peroni, Red Stripe, Corona and Stella constiture the beers.
