I just moved out of Dalston, and I'm so sad it opened just after I left! My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary there for a relaxed dinner. We were welcomed with a lovely "happy anniversary" decoration on the table! The manager is French, so is the staff, and they are all very welcoming, nice and helpful. Now the best part: the galettes and crepes of course. Excellent! And God knows I have eaten my fair share of galettes in the last 30 years. I'm not too bad at making them either! La Petite Bretagne has a great selection, and I picked the goats cheese, ham, rocket salad and walnuts whilst my husband had the "heavy one" with potatoes, onions, cheese and ham. Both were very generous in size and very tasty, nice and warm with the cheese melted perfectly. For dessert I had the apple and caramel, which I hope was homemade!

Excellent evening there, a shame it was a bit quiet and empty on a Saturday night, but I hope they will pick up more clients.

Very nice new addition to Dalston. They do proper buckwheat galettes. I had the savoyarde with raclette cheese and it tasted gorgeous!

For the dessert, I had the saled caramel with apple. Vey nice as well. The decoration is very nice and the staff very welcoming.

I had a quick lunch here last Saturday and I absolutely loved it! It's a very cosy and relaxing place, the decor is more Scandinavian than French but with some additional touches, it looks great. Me and my husband picked different crepes, he had one with salmon and I took the one with a special type of cheese, potatoes and bacon. It was so delicious and quite filling. I had to walk around all afternoon to digest it though, probably because I don't eat cheese so often.
