I went to La Rascasse last weekend for some lunch, and to catch some vitamin d - this place has a lovely outside bit at the back. It wasn't too crowded for a Saturday, and not like a morgue either. The food is very reasonably priced, and they even do a set menu offer - two courses for £8. The interior is a bit on the small side, but the outside seating area was comfortable and the atmosphere was very chilled out. I had a couple of starters - because I'd spent my budget on wine - about £17 for a bottle, but the goats cheese tart was a total winner for me. I'd never been here before, but I would go back. The staff were attentive and upbeat - even though they forgot to bring one of my starters, this was soon sorted out. It's a great place to come if you don't want to hemorrhage cash, but want to something tasty to nibble on.
