Chain of French cafe/bakeries all over London. Healthy choices but not great variaty for brunch. Coffee is great but everything is extremelly expensive, without being justified. Not authentic at all.

We visited this restaurant in Blows Yard, SE1 this evening as a party of 8. Unfortunately we were most disappointed with the food and felt that there was very little value for money. My husband, who cannot eat carbohydrates, ordered the prawn and chorizo salad and upon the waiter's (thankfully practical) advice, ordered 4 fried eggs as an accompaniment. The dish he ordered was £12.50 or thereabouts (plus £5 for the eggs) and there were only 3 medium sized prawns on his plate. All of our party did feel that the portions were very small. I ordered a smoked chicken ceasar salad. What a disaster. The cos lettuce tasted like the drain at the back of ones fridge, the croutons were stale and the smoked chicken, of which there was less than 1/3 of a chicken breast, was obviously straight out of a packet from the fridge. Overall it was a very depressing meal and hugely overpriced.
