Don’t arrive too late at the weekend if you want one of Lisboa’s famous pastel de nata – they often sell out by 2pm. It’s a humble setting, with plenty of banter from staff and slightly fancier pâtisserie than some other Portuguese cake shops. Bica (Portuguese espresso) was good and strong, and they do a nice galão (latte) too.

Delicious pasteis de nata is just a start: authentic atmosphere, lively and eclectic company, with a very genuine feel of Portugal and London's real life, mingling very nicely indeed. Worth travelling from Suffolk for this delightful treat - can't wait to be there this weekend :)
Best Pasteis de Nata, home made, even better than some houses in Lisbon 3 stars from Time Out is a very, very low rating, you've to review yourselves
