If you're besotted with bivalves, this one's for you. Bentley's Oyster Bar is once again hosting the London Oyster Championships, which brings together chefs, seafood experts, and foodie types for a day of enjoyable rivalry, refreshments and live music. First up is the speed shucking competition: entries are first come, first served as competitors battle to shell oysters against the clock. Then there's the best dressed competitions, where chefs come up with novel oyster toppings in front of a panel of judges including Prue Leith.
Your ticket gets you the chance to scoff unlimited native rock oysters, plus two drinks, a goodie bag, and entry to the event's after party.
