Tiny portions at extortionate prices, all in the comfort of a warehouse. We spent £56 for two people, and left hungry. Avoid.
Laid back and local, with a terrific menu and very good wine selection. Doesn't take bookings and only seats around 20 covers so go early.
Tiny portions of high quality food. After spending nearly £60 between two of you , one would expect to be satisfied, except we came out starving. It's perfect for a glass of wine but I wouldn't go there again for an actual meal. There are also no prices on the food menu, which I find a little pretentious. I also was annoyed to be charge 12.5% service in a shop that says it's a bottle shop and bakery. There are many amazing places in eat in Hackney and I very much doubt this will stay around for very long.
