Lucky Chip

Please note, Lucky Chip is no longer in residence at Birthdays. They now have a permanent restaurant in Dalston. Time Out eating & drinking editors, March 2016.

The peripatetic Lucky Chip is currently at Birthdays. It has a focussed menu consisting of burgers, hot dogs, a few side dishes and a handful of sauces. The company started out in 2011 doing street food, mostly burgers named after Hollywood stars; their bacon-cheeseburger, for instance, is called Kevin Bacon. In addition to their regular line-up there is a burger of the week, and chips come in an unadorned version or with sauces, of which the best known is wasabi mayonnaise.

Tastemaker

Write a review...Went to Lucky Chip at the Old Nags Head in Islington. Was very excited to try their Christmas Reindeer burger. Such disappoint as it was way too salty... must have been the stilton. I would stick with one of their classic burgers and don't forget the chips-- they tasted quite fantastic and a lovely portion size.

You can read my review of the burger (and all the Christmas burgers I have done so far) at my blog: http://moosenshoes.blogspot.co.uk/2015/12/timeout-christmas-burger-challenge.html
