This restaurant is in a really
cool location, close to Embankment tube station. Its exposed red brickwork gave
the restaurant a lovely ambience. Shame about the food. We shared a ricotta
heart shaped ravioli dish, it looked cute but was in a buttery sauce and was
way too greasy and rich. My goats cheese grilled vegetable salad had no
surprises. They were mean with the cheese and dressing so quite quickly I was
left with a boring pile of vegetables to work through. The other half did better with his seafood
pizza though personally the mussel shells looked like a pain to get through.
It’s a shame the food here isn’t anything special.
To make it short, I would really not recommend this restaurant. The food and decor weren't bad, but not good enough to compensate the appalling customer service and prices. I spent £25 for a dish of plain meatball pasta, a glass of house wine and a tiramisu. The waitress only came to our table after 30 minutes to ask if we'd like a dessert after we'd stared at her for ages. Not. Good.
