A family-run restaurant on Upper Richmond Road offering a selection of pan-Indian dishes, including a decent array celebrating Goa's Portuguese heritage. It remains a popular spot with Putney locals.
The menu features more than a few recognisable curry house staples such as chicken tikka, a pork vindaloo, vegetable Goan curry and various biryanis. More intriguing options come from tandoor-cooked lamb chops in a garlic, coriander, black pepper and fennel seed marinade, and 'Ma's salmon piri-piri' - a dish of salmon flavoured with carom seed, tandoori spices, lemon and piri-piri masala cooked over charcoal.
The wine list is geared toward bottles that complement the spices of Indian cooking. Options range from soft and fruity whites to big reds. A take away menu is also available.
