Mama Li is a family run business based in the heart of Shoreditch, with over 20 years combined experience in roasting Cantonese meats. Here at Mama Li, we pride ourselves on serving authentic Cantonese roast meats, and aim to make the popular siu mei (燒味) more accessible to the people of London — and not remain a Chinatown exclusive.

We specialise in four of the most popular meats you would typically find in and around Hong Kong - Cantonese Roast Duck, Soy Chicken, Crispy Pork and BBQ Pork (a.k.a. Char Siu). All of our meats are skilfully prepped and marinated for over 24 hours before going into the bullet oven or poached to encapsulate those rich flavours. Not only that, we also have a great variety of Chinese classics to accompany your meals, ranging from Sesame Prawn Toast to Sweet and Sour Chicken and King Prawn Egg Fried Rice.

For an added bit of authentic touch, we also serve the restaurant favourites such as Peking Duck and Aromatic Duck, which is served with cucumber, spring onion and pancakes and is perfect for sharing with groups of friends or family on any occasion.
