Neds Noodle Bar

Time Out says

This Pitfield Street branch is one of three Neds Noodle Bars in London, with each specialising in freshly-made noodle dishes.

The format's a simple one: choose your base (egg noodles, rice noodles, udon noodles, steamed rice or veg); choose your sauce (from a pan-Asian selection including yakisoba black bean, Thai green curry and Chinese BBQ); and then your filling, from chicken, beef, duck, prawns, squid, veg or tofu. It's all then cooked for you there and then.

And if you don't fancy any of that? Other dishes include prawn crackers, sesame prawn toast, miso soup, laksa, udon noodle soups and a few salads. An inexpensive house wine of each colour also features, alongside Singha beer.

Neds Noodle Bar says
Neds Noodle Bar is a revolution in quick, wok-fried Asian food, delivered to the customer in New York-style boxes.

I love this place! I live nearby and always stop off for a late night feed or for a lazy Sunday in. They often have 2 for 1 deals. Mix and match to make your own box which is packed to the rim for a decent price. Ned knows noodles!

Ned's noodles are so yummy! Small little place in Pitfield street, moments away from Hoxton square and definitely a healthier option than the kebab and fried chicken places next and opposite to it. You chose a base, a sauce and the filling of your choice - I had the vegetarian vegetables option and it was delicious, also cheaper too. The portions are large and the quality is vert good. You can do takeaway or sit there, I had takeaway but I would sit for sure, it looked nice and simple. The staff are helpful, smiling and friendly! It is in my neighbourhood so it will be my favourite takeaway place from now on! I bet it must be popular for lunch too. Do try it out if you're around and craving a good portion of delicious noodles!

Simple little place near Hoxton Square with minimalistic interior and not complicated noodle dishes. You can pick from udon, egg or rice noodles (rice also available), which you then combine with one of 9 sauces and 2 fillings, meaty, veggie or seafood.

They also serve healthier noodle free options, gluten free and halal. The green veg & tofu curry I've tried was authentic, fragrant, generous in ingredients with the balance of spices just right.

The prices start at £5.95 and go up to 7.45 for main dishes. The sides are predictable, anything from spring rolls to edemame.

At least once a week there's 50% off mains with HappiHour app, so worth having a go.
