I’ve always wanted to go to Tuscany. So whilst the Italian region has set up camp on my bucket list, heading to the next best thing that London offers will have to suffice.

Your spoilt for choice for bars and restaurants on Regent’s Park Road. But when your taste buds are craving the satisfaction that only a bottle of rouge can honour, look no further than Negozio Classica.

An aunthentic Tuscan restaurant and wine bar, with a fun, modern yet native feel. It’s on the small side – only a lucky few will score a table outside when the sun decides to stay out longer than twenty minutes. They do have an upstairs for busier periods, so booking is recommended.

Once you’re inside, prepare for ultimate indulgence and a warm, friendly welcome. The wine list is very impressive. We opted for the Fabio Motta Le Gonnare Bolgheri Superiore 2013 Rosso. AMORE! What an extravagant set of grapes in a glass. The temperature, the fragrance, the consistency… Even the glass it was poured into complimented the flavour perfectly.

The menu is small, but what they’re lacking in quantity they make up for in true Italian taste. The specially selected options that made the cut onto the menu did so for a reason.  You absolutely cannot leave without trying the Bruschetta Gorgonzola. The truffle oil infusion mixed with such a beautiful cheese is just sensational. If this is what London’s Tuscany has to offer, then the real place has a lot to live up to.

One of my favourite hang-outs, and the perfect place to have an aperitif or weekend lunch with friends. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, the food fantastic and I highly recommend the prosecco!

Great addition to the neighbourhood. Feels like your stepping into Italy. Great wine selection which apparently comes from the loaded owners vineyards in Italy.

Great location, charming staff and a fantastic wine list. I can't wait to go back!
