A dinky Vietnamese restaurant on Clerkenwell Road, offering authentic dishes alongside a selection of options from elsewhere in south-east Asia. It does brisk business with local workers at lunchtime but is also now open for dinner, which should prove popular.
Dishes range from summer rolls and vibrant Vietnamese salads to banh mi, chicken and lemongrass bun xa and a solid range of pho noodle soups of beef, chicken, duck, seafood and tofu. Satay chicken and stir-fries of a pan-Asian bent show the versatility of the menu.
Drinks include Vietnamese beers (Hanoi and Hue), as well as a few keenly priced bottles of wine and strong, sweet Vietnamese coffee.
