I visited the new branch of Franco Manca here late on a Thursday evening - queues are always to be anticipated at any given branch but we were seated within 15 minutes of arriving and served even quicker once we had ordered. As ever the pizza is fresh, perfectly baked and toppings always carefully paired. I went for the spicy lamb sausage pizza with buffalo ricotta and yellow tomatoes which at £8.25 is actually by far their most expensive option but still fantastic value for the quality.

Hits the pizza-shaped sot every time.

Tastemaker

So I ventured out to Shake Shack's Nova Victoria opening to see what the latest addition had to offer! I've always been a fan of Shake Shacks burgers that consist of lettuce, tomatoes and American cheese. I oppose people's suggestions that tomatoes take away from the burgers flavour - they actually complement the taste. I was served by friendly staff who ideally should have known more on how the burger was cooked. Either way I took the risk and enjoyed every bit. In addition I ordered a hot dog which mirrored the burger in terms of its appealing appearance. Can't decide which I enjoyed the most but may try them both again! (Any excuse)
