Time Out says

A neat little pizzeria near Canonbury station, run by friends Nicola Apicella and Matteo Speziale. The long room has wooden tables running along one side, with a wood-burning oven in the back, where you'll find Apicella masterfully making the authentic Neapolitan pizzas. Toppings include nduja, potatoes and pistachio, rocket and walnuts, parma ham, egg and chicken. As well as the typical pizzas and calzones we're used to, you can also have your pizza rolled (the 'Frusta'), as a wrap or in a saltimbocca style. Naturally desserts feature tiramisu and gelato, as well as the intriguing bocconcini di pizza (fried dough with Nutella).

I am so glad I've finally found a really good pizza place in my area! I love pizzas. For me they are comfort food, celebrations food, get better food (etc...) hence why I always want to have a local pizzeria I can go to!
The staff at Oi Vita is adorable. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, talking to us in a mix of Italian and English (how authentic is that?!). We also got to have a word with one of the owners who seemed to be a very passionate person. We booked a table so didn't have to wait (it was a Friday night) but glad we did as the place was full at all time.
I definitely recommend those pizzas, either eat in or take away (forgot to mention it but the prices are very decent too!).

I have the chance to live 5 minutes away from Oi Vita, my favourite place to eat in the area. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, always smiling, very accomodating, and passionate about sharing Italy-sourced products. Everything on the menu is hard to resist. I have tried quite a few things now, and all dishes are full of flavours. The baked aubegine with smoked mozzarella and the pizza pesto are my favourites, but all special pizzas are worth trying and I will try to succeed in that mission! The prosseco and house red wine did not disappoint. Oi Vita has a simple and rustic decor. If you are local, you can also order your pizza and have it as a take-away. I have always had a great time eating there!
