This is a great neighbourhood Italian where you're guaranteed a really friendly welcome. It's not an old school trattoria- the menu is modern Italian fare. The food is fresh & delicious- the tomato & pesto garlic bread & vegetarian risotto are highly recommended. The menu changes regularly with daily specials so there's always something new to try.

Osteria dell'Arte is a cosy, family-run Italian decorated beautifully with quirky paintings, plants and even a tree as the restaurant centrepiece, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is authentically Italian, and the menu boats a selection of dishes. However, the specials are where Osteria really shine. Changing almost daily, and drawn on the mirror in coloured crayons, the dishes are a little creative but consistently in keeping with classic Italian cuisine. We went for the Burrata to start, which came with sun-dried tomatoes, avocado and walnuts, an inventive twist on the classic tricolore salad. The pasta and pizza are fail-proof and with really reasonable prices and good portion sizes it's hard to be disappointed!

This is a family run, friendly Italian, with a huge tree growing in the middle of it.  Random quirky art adorns the walls and the food, while nothing particularly original or amazing, is always good quality and delicious - I love always the 'Specials' crayoned up on the large mirror, and best of all seems, always to me, to be the polenta.  Staff are warm and lovely.  I recommend this as a good quality safe but lovely choice.

I stumbled across this restuarant one evening when my boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to eat in Clapham in February and we've been back several times on our own and we've taken friends and family there too. The food is always delicious - although I do think their desserts let them down a bit. The service is always friendly and attentive and atmosphere is cosy and vibrant. We love it.

I heard about Osteria dell'Arte from word of mouth. I came all the way from West London to take my mum out and it was worth it! The restaurant itself is beautifully laid out with a great selection of art and plants, creating a welcoming, unique atmosphere. The food was delicious. Had a starter of FRESH grilled squid, which was exquisite. The main courses were also of an exceptionally high quality and just delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for those who love to eat well and everyone else. The staff were friendly, informative and attentive. One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. Loved it!
