Oh-my-god grilled sandwiches. Chorizo, almond and cheddar? Yes please! Avocado on toast with dukhah is amazing as well. The best part? It is a fiver each. Nice vibes, a bit tight space so you can be nice and share with others, great music, retro feel in general. Good coffee, yummy juices, pleasant service, very little waiting time! You order and pay at the counter and they will bring it to you. Definitely recommended for lunch or weekend brunch, or whenever in general but there might be some waiting on weekends for both seats and order, as the kitchen is so small! Just be patient and you'll enjoy it! Opening times are a bit tight, it closes around 4 on Sunday (last order is 3:30 if I remember correctly) so make sure you get there early to avoid disappointment, not sure about the rest of the days.

Best toastie ever - the horchata is delicious and you can't honestly find it anywhere else!!

Stop by for the Japanese supper evenings - I think they're Thurs-Sat. Great, cheap, authentic Japanese food - not sushi, more noodles, hotplate suppers, some raw fish but not served on rice. V interesting and great value.

Friendly environment, music quality, tasteful food + coffee during daytime and delicious okonomiyaki on evenings! Defo worth to try in lost in translation of Hackney..!

Stunning hidden gem. Coffee is excellent and highly individual interior, you need to be cool to even enter this place. Staff are very friendly and food is unique and delicious. So worth a visit, if only the opening times were a little longer.....!

Great coffee, great sarnies, great records and right attitude. They host a great monthly Japanese pop-up by Sho Foo Doh. Sick.

i dig this place for their originality, eccentricity & personality... the coffee making is top. rank and the scran is scrumptious!! thank you liam you rock! play on dude!

Really cool little place. The food is inventive and tasty, the coffe is great, the atmosphere is perfect and I don;t think you will find friendlier staff this side of London
