The sign outside doesn’t lie: ‘The food is generously served and priced’. Unfortunately, the cooking is not especially good. As Pasha enters its third decade, its kitchen is perhaps showing signs of complacency. Our meal was mediocre at best, terrible at worst. The nadir came early: a portion of dried-out white pitta bread, served on its own without any oil or dips. It tasted as if it had been heated up days ago – a terrible first impression. The stuffed vine leaves were also poor. The menu describes them as homemade, so there’s undoubtedly someone in the kitchen with an uncanny talent for making stuffed vine leaves as uniform, dense and lifeless as those sold in cans – and £4.50 for four is stingy. Imam bayıldı was passable, although the aubergine skin was rather chewy. Lamb and chicken iskender barely passed muster; copious yoghurt couldn’t mask the meat’s lack of flavour. Kapama was the best dish we ate: a duck leg with a generous quantity of walnuts and pomegranate seeds, but again the meat was insipid and characterless, and the gravy overpowering. Yes, the staff are friendly and this remains a pleasant venue in a great location, but the food needs to improve.

Very poor customer service!!!

Me and my wife walked into the restaurant on a Saturday night and it was packed( I fully appreciate it was a Saturday night and we didn't make a reservation). We we're waiting at the door.... and waiting.... and waiting!! absolutely no acknowledgement. We noticed a manager just stared at us but was far to busy in his till!

So we walked out and upon going outside on the street this is when a woman whom I presume was senior management came to the doom and simply shouted at us " are you alright?" VERY VERY VERY POOR STANDARD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Vegetarians, look away NOW. The lamb chops are a must served with lots of salad and rustic chips and although I'm normally not a big eater, I manage to finish this off, no problem. Definitely worth a visit as it looks pretty ordinary when you walk past and maybe not as enticing as it actually is.

Nice atmosphere and attentive waiting staff, but the food was pretty mediocre. Sardine starter was dry and tasteless, and the albanian liver unimpressive. The turkish casserole was bland and the vege mousaka not much better. Nice desserts and half price on the tastecard, but we wouldn't go back. Much better options in Islington.

I've been to Pasha a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and always cooked to perfection, and the staff are attentive and friendly. They're happy to accomodate large parties and couples and the restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended/

Have eaten @ Pasha several different times. The food is always fresh and properly prepared and I've never had a bad waiter (and I'm one who is fussy about service).

Horrible service, terrible staff we waited 55 minutes for a simple kofte kebab, the little candle on our table was not put light on whilst all others were staffs were ignorant, rude and vicious we ordered a bottle of wine, and i was serving my own mine, whilst the waiters were serving all others, food was horrible, kebab had a bitter taste, rubbish I refused to pay service charge and left a 1 penny on the table to protest the disgusting service do not go there,

Lovely atmosphere but a bit pricey when you have gallipoli across the street. Starter meze was so big it was almost not worth getting the main!
