Would pretty much echo the review - good but just falls short of great. The staff are knowledgable and the right amount of friendly, and it's worth adding that the cocktails are excellent too. There's some really nice touches, but a few too many dishes that are just average. You won't grumble about it to your friends, but you won't rave about it either...

Very pleasant environment and really friendly staff. Only stayed for drinks, but will definitely return for food.

This was a nice place but unremarkable. We had the tasting menu and I actually cannot remember one single thing we ate. There were some veal balls but these were separate to the tasting menu. Considering I normally instagram every meal that isn't home made I think the fact that I didn't even take 1 picture demonstrates that I was not bowled over.

The service was efficient and friendly and it was an enjoyable experience but you can have better for less.

Do yourself a favour, book in and try the tasting menu. It's nothing extra-ordinary in the world of fine-dining, but surely that's a good thing, right? The six-course tasting menu is great value and changes frequently. From my visit, my favourites were the perfect little curried vegetable soup starter, the oh-so-moist venison (with home-made spätzle!) and THAT chocolate mousse. No not the Petit Pois Bistro one - THIS one, not served from the bowl, but with a wicked caramel sauce - even better!

The food here is pretty as a picture! Offering small plates of seasonal British/Mediterranean inspired cuisine, Picture has a good thing going. The menu is fairly small, which is good as it means that what deliver is simple food done well. Highly recommend the beef bites as a little appetiser, breaded deep fried pulled beef, what's not to love? Service is amazing, we felt well loved all night, but not in an overbearing way. Definitely check it out, just do be prepared to spend a little more than an average meal.

Would highly recommend Picture - really is picture perfect! The tandoori chicken is a winning dish. Had such a great time and the service is great too.

Super restaurant - very accomplished cooking, lovely atmosphere and great, friendly service. One of the best meals this year - fantastic and highly recommended.

I had dinner at 'Picture' last night, and it was a wonderful experience overall! It's a bit on the pricey side, but you get a really nice eating experience. And Timeout is right, the staff is friendly indeed!

Picture perfect. Fun, friendly and fantastic food. I will definitely be going back!

Picture offers a range of sharing plates, representing modern global cuisines. 6 dishes (ranging £3-£6 each) is plenty for two people and doesn't break the bank. Yo are able to dine in a seated are or at the bar, so it's perfect for meeting work associates, dates, family or friends. The cocktails made by barman Ben are beautiful.

Everything had one dominant taste- sourness. One dimensional, stingy portions with a pretentious wannabe hipster vibe. Bill was about 70 quid for 2, so not cheap and was so hungry at the end that we literally went for a second dinner. Avoid at all costs. Horrendous.
